The problem with this show is that The plot is quite difficult to follow. Perhaps it was a combination of this difficult show to take seriously during the hilarity at random that occurred during the first few episodes, or perhaps it was because of the people making a lot of metaphorical statements that really do not relate to the very viewer well until the last three episodes. The intentions of the protagonist / antagonist forces are quite vaguely explained late in the program, and whatever reason Alphard was doing things to make Canaan life miserable, the more I think about it, the less sense it has. And in general, the characters show very little development. The same behavior as Mary constantly idolizing Canaan or YunYun being a noisy and full klutz chest becomes quite obsolete.
I like that these characters are placed into some rather emotionally touching situations, even to the point of bringing me to tears. I can not say why, for fear of spoilers, but I was highly impressed by the clever use of the characters back stories, and even their unique abilities (which are given to only a select few characters) to provide an emotional charge that many action shows lack entirely. You'll find a nice blend of action, character development, and even heart-wrenching moments that will bring you to the point of tears.
