Overall, it's fun to watch. He has good fight scenes in the pure Shounen style. This was a great anime to watch. It will definitely make you happier and in some cases it will make you angry with "The Man". So if you like the action sequences and the style of Dragon Ball Z "Leveling up, then this is the Anime for you. I enjoyed this Anime, for its atypical points more than for something else. This is not as epic as Rurouni Kenshin, or as deep as some of the other anime developed by these people. However, if you start watching this show beyond the third or fourth episode, you can start enjoying!

Our protagonist Kazuki is nothing new in terms of characters, certainly not bad. He's just a typical Shonen guy. He wants to do whatever it takes to protect everyone around him, even if that means stealing himself. However Tokiko is the true star of this show. She begins, cold, impetuous and full of hatred. But at the end of the series is open, timid and full of love to give. She really goes through incredible development through the series. Most comes from being close to Kazuki, and beginning to learn what it is to love and want to protect things that are dear to you. Now what made Tokiko so impressive in my eyes, to be blunt, was the fact that she was a badass. Screaming "I'm going to rip off your guys" killing all the Homunculus in their sight, and to be honest, not many people can wear a scar like yours and stay so sexy. His personality and development made him a really nice character.
At the end of the day, nothing changes with Buso Renkin. Still its predictable, cliché shonen series were the good guy always wins. This series does not bring anything new to the table, but at the end of the day is pleasant. And that's all that really matters. So if you are looking for a good anime action, with some very impressive characters, and a good mix of comedy and romance. Then I suggest you try Buso Renkin.

This anime touches the plot of Kazuki Muto, a high school boy who one day tries to rescue a girl from being attacked by a monster, later this is cataloged as homunculus and kills Kazuki at once, the girl destroys the monster and revives To Kazuki replacing to his heart a magic stone called Busou Renkin. This artifact gives the boy the ability to defend himself from the homunculi and decides to fight alongside the girl against these monsters.
At first this anime looks like a shonen of typical elements, however the events are narrated in a striking way. The plot of this anime is excellent, has good action and other elements typical of its history, in addition to it I must admit that one of the most outstanding elements of the whole story lies in its end, presents a closed, unexpected and highly interesting, Resulting in an anime that is really worth seeing. The audiovisual elements are excellent, although they are not too prominent.
I definitely recommend it, as I said, the anime has no innovative elements, but it has a highly eye-catching plot.

Although the plot is very generic this anime has very unique details that make it special. Such as the development of characters depending on the passage of time, or the great characterization of this, having a very good cast of characters and being almost all of them. When I say I almost meant that there are some kids out there that are just as detestable as the fake second season ads. Already just talking about characters like Gota Nakamura, better known as the arrogant rubiales who tries to get in the middle of Mato and Tokiko. And I understand that they put him as Muto's loving rival, but what I do not understand is that he does not try to declare himself to Tokiko, or that he tries to change his view of himself, or that he does something for himself. In my opinion is the most stereotypical character and tsundere of all this anime, hating Muto to death at first but then reluctantly helping him and becoming his friend. And you will tell me, of course, all this does for Tokiko. Well I do not understand why you do not get in the middle of the relationship. That already at the end of the anime when he understands that there is nothing to do and gives up (the only good decision that takes) leaves me very cold the body since normally when it enters a loving rival in a series there is a suffering of By means of, but here nothing of that. But well, in the end this is a Sh?nen and everything goes much more focused on the action. Nor are there many Sh?nen who stand out for their lights in the romance ...

Anyway, the characters are very well characterized. Especially Muto, who stands out for his firm vision of justice that is exposed at all times in the chapters, coming to make decisions that perhaps are not the most accurate, but that solve the problem. There are also strong and strong characters of those who like it so much (I mean Captain Bravo). And the antagonists are very well made, at least Papillon. Perhaps the abuelete of this little guy left much to be desired, but Papillon is certainly the best villain of the whole series.

In short if you have free time and you like the Sh?nen this anime is one of the must to keep in mind. On the other hand, if you are very demanding and only works of art, you should almost miss it. However, it is an anime that I would recommend openly to have a good time, since the enjoyment factor is very observable in this anime. It is also one of the best Sh?nen I have ever seen.
