This is the second season and even the five protagonists do not take their task of magical boys seriously, so it's still a hilarious spoof of the magical girls series, like Sailor Moon or Pretty Cure. Almost no member is interested in the task entrusted by Wombat, having this to insist in many moments so that the protagonists get to work. There is more of a situation in which it is implied that certain characters have loving feelings for others, all also a product of parody, not to mention also the contrast between the student council (refined and elegant) and the land defense club ( Crazy and comic, especially by the personalities of the members). All this comes seasoned with a good animation and a fairly passable ost, of which everyone will only remember the tracks of the transformations.
In my opinion what differentiates this season from simply being a copy-paste of the first season is that it digs more into the already brought up subjects of the first season which they did not have time to develop, such as television, fandoms, networks And more importantly, the "idol mentality". It just impresses me how this show managed to be so aware of how we, as a mass of people, the audience, sometimes tend to like entertaining stuff that do not have much thought put into them besides being entertaining more than current quality material, Without our "magical boys show" itself forgetting what it's supposed to be. It impresses me how it brought the sometimes-issue of fandoms and how much importance they are getting to be able to decide what goes and what stays by a simple push of a like button. It impresses me how it brought awareness to the duality between idols being a concept built on lies and shallowness and idols the bringers of hope and encouragement. The whole show promotes the whole concept of perspective change and how one thing can be seen as ridiculous, but seen in another way it actually becomes a serious subject, or even a dark one such as the bringing in of "obsession".
Binan Koukou Chikyuu Bouei-bu LOVE! SEES IT! Is a series of genres Slice of Life, Comedy, Magic, School. My experience with this anime, I started to feel like most of yours, I did not know what to do. At best it would be something that's funny for how bad it is. Well ... I take that back tenfold.
"Binan Koukou Chikyuu Bouei-bu Love!", At least first season, managed to turn into a masterpiece. And this season is not far off. Why? You might ask. It's just a funny show about bishonens that just random stuff and transform into magical boys thinking they're Sailor Moon and co .. Because it does not just try to look like it and make it funny, it also takes out and presents the Best and the worst tropes of the magical girl genre by showing how ridiculously stupid they can get in a way that's at best hilarious and at worst nonsense. This is what we call a parody, where the story and characters do not exactly matter as much as the concept revolves around it.
Although this anime seems ridiculous and of poor quality, the truth is that it is a very entertaining option and in my opinion is also original.
The anime is quite funny and is a complete parody of the current elements of the anime with special emphasis on the genre Magical Girl.
The anime makes sense even if it is funny, because all events have explanation at all times even if they are totally funny.
The audiovisual elements of this anime are excellent, the animation is well done and although the character design I do not like much, this somehow also has a humorous and parody touch with some stereotypes known in the world of anime today.
This anime is not a serious or deep option to see, it is only a comedy good anime very entertaining.
Although watching the trailer of this anime seems that the five protagonists are serious about their task of magical boys, just see the first chapter we realize that is not so at all. Therefore, this is but a hilarious parody of the series of magical girls, like Sailor Moon or Pretty Cure. Almost no member has an interest in the task entrusted by Wombat, having this to insist on many moments for the protagonists to get down to work. There is more of a situation in which it is implied that certain characters have a loving feeling for others, all also a product of parody, not to mention also the contrast between the student council (refined and elegant) and the land defense club ( Crazy and comic, especially by the personalities of the members). And, in spite of all this, the story counts on a huge plottwist in the last episode, getting to break in a certain way the fourth wall. All this is accompanied by a good animation and a rather passable ost, of which everyone will only remember the tracks of the transformations. In short, a perfect anime if you are looking for a laugh. Not recommended if you expect a plot of tragic past of the protagonists or if you do not go the magical girls.
