Aldnoah zero I found an anime that started pretty well. Although Aldnoah.Zero is a series of fairly common elements and fairly generic stereotypes had an excellent start, the military plot and strategies are very good, although the main character is quite unreal, the way it unfolds is still entertaining in no time. The action of the fights for my concept is very good, it is not the best thing that exists in the world of the struggles of the MECHA genre, but I must say it turns out to be quite an entertaining option. The character design is a little generic, but it is acceptable.
Although I recommend this anime I must say additionally that my disappointment comes with the S2 season of this anime, I even consider that it does not exist !, but the S1 I found very good.

In 1999, following the discovery of a hyper-portal on the Moon in 1972, a war erupts between humans living on Earth and those who immigrated to Mars, resulting in the Earth's natural satellite being devastated. This discovery allows humanity to come into contact with an ancient civilization on Mars. But what was foreseen is that an interaction with peaceful ends ends up leading to a war between the same race.
The characters of this anime I do not like, both their designs and themselves, the only one I can save is Slaine, the most worked. There are many characters who paint it with dyes of mystery that hide a tragic past that will be accompanied with enough drama that make the character develop, but so that if they only serve for dramatic moments and then for nothing ?. It has a team of allies quite large but most of us painted it as a fill or very secondary and as far as the enemy campus, which seemed more interesting, only focus on a couple of counts that I really did not like much and as the plot Advancing I wondered where the others are because others used them as characters to defeat so that the protagonist will look ... Now let's talk about the protagonist, we have the typical cold, without emotions, that can do everything that his superiors do not do A fuse of practices, conceited but with feelings inside, or that makes us think, this is Inaho, a protagonist whom I get used to since he is not a crybaby, he simply does not show many emotions, although it has to be said that he is quite intelligent And that makes some fighting pretty good but I still do not like it.

Aldnoah Zero is one of the disappointments of the season, it was a work that was expected a lot and in the end was getting worse and boring at times, with a great OST that I will not deny it and a technical section quite good but the weight of An anime falls on its plot and this one has not managed to handle it well, with an open end with second season announced and if you do not like the wicks and want to change your mind I do not recommend it totally, because to me some battles got bored by this reason. Is it one of the anime of the season that you should see if or if? Well not for all the above but this anime has its good and unexpected moments as the end.
The plot becomes more boring and simple with a cliché final villain that got in the final stretch gave more than a yawn and nod, but the end was unexpected (I was surprised too much and I liked it enough) and unfinished though that does not matter because We will have second season in January although if we analyze the final situation it is quite predictable to know what will happen but well maybe we are surprised. From this final stretch I expected something more as characters who have tried to overcome their trauma to see them fight and that in the end is nothing for example.

In my opinion it is compared to the "main-character-gets-an-overpowered-robot-for-no-reason-and-beats-everyone" cliché this is kind of refreshing, but gets boring really fast. Especially because the more you think about it the more you realize that while his plans look good on paper, based on his observations he could have come up with different conclusions / interpretations. Meaning he is making something logical wild guesses and he turns out to be right every single time.
And naturally he is also able to flawlessly execute these plans, because he is an ace pilot who mastered the art of sidestepping instead of standing still and waiting for the fatal blow while screaming like an idiot.
The overall art design is beautiful, very atmospheric. The only "criticism" this show usually gets is the use of CGI, but after re-watching those scenes Ill call it good. Terran mechs looked really clunky most of the time they were using various tricks to make the robots blend into the background which included the use of camera angles, lighting, colors, smoke, snow etc ... The Show is easy to follow and visually appealing.

Aldnoah zero a series of mechs, science fiction, quite action and some drama that tells us the battle between the land forces and the empire Vers, a feudal and ruled by an emperor, founded by land settlers on Mars independent of the land, Which have the support of an advanced and mysterious extraterrestrial technology known as Aldnoah that can only be used by some, promised quite at first, delivering a premise that although quite cliché, being the typical confrontation between the united nations of space Vs. Nazis of the space, was interesting, accompanied by a very good animation and a spectacular soundtrack, unfortunately the initial impression that can cause is quickly to the fret, due to a plot that little is showing more and more weaknesses, and a horrible job With the characters.

Well not all of the aforementioned but this anime has its good and unexpected moments like the end, not everything is bad but there are many better this season as Rail Wails or Himegoto ... Notice the sarcasm and but then turn off and let's go. I clarify that all this is my opinion.

An excellent story that was not

I can say Much about Aldnoah. Zero, in my opinion I have contrasting opinions. First I can say that it was an excellent the first season anime, it had my expectation to the maximum, but my good references went with the second season.
Aldnoah.Zero takes us to a collapsed planet earth by a war with the humans who decided to go to Mars where there was an old technology called aldnoah, the things get worse when Asselyum, the daughter of the Earl of Mars is attacked in The planet earth and her father decides to aggravate the war. The protagonist (Inaho) has an intelligence and skill that will help humans win this war.

The graphics and soundtrack were excellent, the music of Kalafina gave a touch catchy to the opening in company with Sawano Hiroyuki and others.

The plot and the characters were not the best, they were a compilation of cliche characters (I forgot very surreal), but in the second season the story became boring, the war lost meaning and became a teenage struggle and losing the serious character.
