After losing his sister at age seven, Satsuki Kakeru has been living a depressing life ever since. One day, he is transported to a strange world "Red Night" along with his childhood friend Minase Yuka, where they start to appear monsters in the streets that want to assassinate them, but apparently they are not the only humans in the red night.
The story has its romantic ingredient and the use of fanservice. So you will see bulky parts of women move at will and camera angles that will provide them with their necessary panties endowments of the day. Even so, 11 eyes do not abuse this one. I would say that 11 eyes is a mixture of several repetitive elements already found in other series. It is that watching the first chapters that can observe patterns of animes very popular. So the safest thing is that when you start to see it, you will find yourself in a huge deja vu every chapter that goes by; Ingredients such as "the chosen one", "magic", "the damisela in danger", "the double personalities", "trauma childhoods" and many refritos more, is what awaits you.
11 eyes is not the anime that will captivate your heart, much less is that anime that will surprise you. However, it is not a bad choice for those who are starting to see anime and do not want to see the retro series.
It's an entertaining story if you see it from a certain point of view. It has what a good anime must have. Strong characters, mystery, magic and fights. The character who takes the prize is Yukiko Hirohara, my favorite character. The story plays with the personalities of each character and gives an unexpected turn to viewers who did not join the pieces from the beginning.
When I was in the middle of the series, I looked at google and I found that 11 eyes is a visual novel for adults that came out for PC and Xbox 360. So it made me weird that there was not so much ecchi. What it is that already in the episode 11 can take a huge laugh with what happens almost at the end.
The bad thing is it's very predictable. Really. At least if you've seen much anime.
In my opinion 11eyes definitely has great art. Arts from other more complicated series can not be compared to this one since its main focus was the "moe" aspect. Characters that have cute traits like big eyes and the like are found in it. Some battle scenes did look awkward though. At one time, I was expecting an epic fight between two master swordsmen. It shifts to one scene. And then cue a scene where one of them says "She's too strong." And do not fight anyway. It's like they ran out of budget to make a big fight scene. That was fail.
The characters are stereotypical, that's for sure. The characters were made to cater to your fetishes. This was ok, I understand. It was the point. And then IT happened. One of the main girls degraded into a sick little girl with her own sick little fantasies. And as I said earlier, suddenly most of the cast became incompetent in combat and the main guy just became central view of the show. What the heck happened?
11 eyes is a series of Action genre, Ecchi, Super Power, Supernatural. The anime showed pretty strong potential to be a very good supernatural themed story. The concept was used before. This did not discourage me from watching it though. One can use mediocre concepts and turn it into gold. I first saw this aspect as gold. This view, however, devolved and the story slowly but surely turned into something else: A screwy and awkward one. An interesting story, it turned out VERY awkward and weird. Suddenly, it's like the other characters lost their competence and some even derailed into "dreadful and annoying" (I'm looking at you, Yuka.) And the rest just got ... blah.
Overall, 11eyes can not be considered great or a superb anime. But undeniably the show is decent enough to stand. But if one looks for story and development in an anime, 11eyes is not for you.
The good: It is an entertaining story if you see it from a certain point of view. It has what a good anime must have. Strong characters, mystery, magic and fights. The story plays with the personalities of each character and gives an unexpected turn to viewers who did not join the pieces from the beginning. The bad: It is very predictable. Really. At least if you have already seen a lot of anime or ideas of worlds that collide with the world in which you live (hypothetically, of course). The curious thing: When I was in the middle of the series, I looked in google and I found that 11 eyes is a visual novel for adults that came out for PC and Xbox 360. So it made me weird that there was not so much ecchi. What it is that already in the episode 11 can take a huge laugh with what happens almost at the end. - 11 eyes is not the anime that will captivate your heart, much less is that anime that will surprise you.
I thought it was incredible. The mixture of all its elements seemed very good.
The plot of all the history is good, is well adapted with respect to the history. One of the main characteristics that I found very good in history is the amount of plot twists that exist in this anime, no character is what it seems, and the end I thought ... .wooow!
The characters seemed to me excellent, they have different personalities, although they can be somewhat flat and generic, but they have some characteristic elements on their own and hide some elements that in their respective moments they know how to surprise.
11eyes in conclusion I can say that it is an excellent anime, although it may have some small problems, they are not very relevant, in the plot nothing is what it seems and is demonstrated in a surprising way.
11 eyes is a good series with a very unexpected twist in the end. Satsuki Kakeru and Minase Yuka who grew up together and living ordinary lives until one day they are transported mysteriously to another world where the moon and the sky are red, in addition there are monsters with tentacles and a group of dark leaders who want them to kill. To that world they know him as the red night and appears and disappear sopressively, there are other people who are going through the same situation, Misuzu a girl with skills of samurai, Yukiko a maid with great agility and Tajima a bad boy who can control the fire. As the episodes pass more frequent and lasting their stay in the red night, little by little each one is expressing his powers in his search to escape and to find answers.
It is a series with action, mystery and drama that can surprise with some elements of the argument.
